Before I head back out to enjoy my vacation, I am linking up with 4th Grade Frolics for their Monday Made It linky party.
This week I actually worked on some of the neat ideas I found on Pinterest. I am constantly pinning cute ideas. I will save them to my board hoping one day to get to them. Some of the ideas I find a lot is different teachers pinning their anchor charts. My goal was to buy chart paper and write/draw some of these anchor charts up. Well I bought the chart paper several months ago {try like 6months ago}, but it has been sitting in my work space. So I decided to break it out and get busy drawing up some of these anchor charts. I would like to say I came up with all these ideas by myself, but that I did not. They are all pinned from teachers, pinning other teachers, and so on. If you would like to find the links to the original ideas or see all the other neat ideas I have pinned on Pinterest then click my “P” button below.
So these are the anchor charts I have worked on so far.
I really liked this anchor chart for solving math problems. I like that it shows the kids a variety of ways to solve a problem.
I like this anchor chart because it has a catchy poem about quotation marks that I think will be easy for the kids to remember. I also like it because it provides cues for other words that signal someone is speaking. Kids usually catch on that the word “said” means you will need quotation marks, but a lot of times they don’t realize that there are other words that provide cues as well.
I like this adverb chart a lot!!!! I always notice that my kids have such a hard time identifying adverbs in a sentence. I think this anchor chart breaks it down. I like how I can have it up in my class to provide as a visual aid.
So there you have it, my Monday Made It! Anchor charts that will provide as visual aids in my classroom. I plan on adding much more. Thanks for taking a peek. Be sure to follow me on Bloglovin’!

Oh how I love anchor charts. I need to definitely go through all my pins of them on pinterest and make sure to actually remember to use them this year! That's my problem though… I'm a great pinner! I just forget what's there since there's so much. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

Great idea to work on these at home. I need to run to our local Parent Teacher Store and pick up a chart tablet. While I do want to create them with the students, it's hard to make them "cute" during the lesson. Maybe I could just get it started this summer and then we can find it and finish the chart during the year when we get to that lesson. Cute blog!!!
