Eww ...Germs

Lately it seems like everyone is catching something.  Several teachers at my school have been sick.  And it seems that it is not only where I live.  Many of my blogging buddies have recently posted a how sick they have been.  It is know wonder, it seems like once school starts back up everyone starts getting the crud.  The nurse at my school just sent out a friendly reminder about washing hands.  She said that she had seen SEVERAL cases of strep throat coming through the front office.  Of course, I am just sitting around waiting for my turn to catch it.  I usually catch whatever is going around in my class.  And if I don't catch it in my classroom then I get it from my own two kiddos.

After the nurse informed us that strep is running rampant at my school, she sent us a video from You Tube to share with our class about the importance of washing hands.  I showed it to my class and they seemed to like it.  It is only about 4 minutes and it gets the point across about washing hands.  I thought I would share it with you in case you want to have a mini lesson on the importance of clean hands.

Now I am off to wash my hands {just talking about it makes me feel the need to rewash them}!  Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!
