Every since school has started I have been in full swing of trying to stay on top of things! I am even a day late to Farley’s Currently link. Which might I add, is one of my favs!!! I am hardly ever late on this link up! I do have some things going on in my room that I want to share with you, but I have to get my photos organized first!!!
Most of my things on my list are self explanatory! My husband has been on night shift for the past couple of weeks, so me shuffling the girls around has been double duty. We usually have to split up and share this duty a few days out of the week. I will be glad next week when he is back on regular shift. Plus with him being on nights, I am having to leave school as soon as I put my class on the bus in order to race home and get my own two kiddos off of their bus. This is one of the pitfalls of not having your kids with you at your school, but I will manage. They really love their school and our neighborhood is filled with kids everywhere. So, if they went 10 miles up the road with me to my elementary school they would probably not have as many friends in the neighborhood {I guess you have to weigh the pros and cons}!
I need to also make a run to the dry cleaners. I noticed this morning my dry cleaner basket is getting way too full with work clothes. I have several pairs of black pants that I refuse to wash in the washer for fear or shrinkage or fading. I am running out of things to wear.
My three places I would love to visit are all actually state side. I would love to travel over seas, but I think America has so many great places to go and visit. I really would love to visit these places before I head across the ocean. The first place is New York City. Something about this place looks so inviting to a southern girl. Oh, and Washington, D.C. … I would love to visit all the historical sites. While I am at how about a trip up the whole eastern seaboard, that should take care of the two above and then some!!!! I would also love to visit San Francisco. I really don’t know why, but something about it on T.V. and in magazines looks so inviting!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

I live near DC and haven't seen half the things I should have gone to see. And I even lived near NYC for years and didn't do any of the touristy things I should have done. Yar. I need to be more motivated I think…

This time of year is just to crazy to make it to any part on time! So much to do and so little time.
I remember my husband working the shift and it was THE WORST! I was so sad and crazy lonely at night. Hoping yous gets back to days soon.

1. Your background is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Don't worry about feeling so behind. There is no such thing as a truly caught up teacher. 😉
3. Sounds like your need to plan an East Coast road trip! I've always wanted to go to NYC and loved my time in DC.
Wonderful post,
