Home Office Space and June Currently

I am officially on Summer Break and that means I have more time to do fun link ups!  I love linking up with other bloggers.  It is so much fun to find out about how other teachers and moms are doing things out there.

Up first I am linking up with Schroeder Shenanigans in 2nd and Lucky Little Learners for their monthly link up, Together We are Better!

I am a little embarrassed to post pics of my messy office space, but I have been out of school for a week already and this space it getting used.

This first picture is the desk I have in my room that holds my dear and beloved MAC computer!  I love my MAC!  In fact now that I have owned one, I will never buy anything else but an Apple computer.  This is where I also keep my 12X12 printer and Silhouette Cutter.

I can't take the blame for all the messiness!  I have two daughters who are also very creative.  I know some parents say their kids are creative and their kids really aren't, but I promise my two are.  The proof is in the picture.  This is one of their areas.  My craft room {this is what we officially call our office space} use to be so quiet and clean all the time.  Then my daughters grew!!!  Now they are in the room all the time.  But how can I not let them express their creativity too!    I finally bought them carts to hold their paints, pencils, etc... For Christmas they were given fold up easels.  They actually paint and draw better than I ever thought about doing.

This is is the closet.  It is where we keep all the papers, buttons, ribbons - oh, you know the usual stuff!  This shelving system helps keep us organized.

This is the second desk in the room.  This is an actual crafting table with two chairs.  I purchased it from Pier One about eight years ago.  It has been one of the best purchases.  It gets used almost on a daily basis.  It is where scrapbooking takes place, school projects happen.  I like that it has two spots for sitting.  That way if I am working on something, usually one of my kiddos is across from me doing one of their "art activities".  While we are all working we have long talks at this desk.

Well, now you have seen a peek into my craft/home space.  I promise it is not always messy, but I also promise it is a very used space.   I can't wait to see what some of your spaces look like.

Now on to my second link up:  Currently with Farley!

Most of my Currently's are self explanatory!   Like Farley said, we too have been getting a lot of rain. Actually this is the first week we are expected to have 5 days of sunshine in a row.  Because of all the rain, our Red River is having major flooding.  It has already flooded some areas.  It is expected to crest by the end of this week and many areas are being evacuated.   I hope all the levee systems hold up!  Where I live is ok, but many neighborhoods and areas are being affected.  The news reported that this is the highest the river has ever been {scary stuff}!

In better news,  we are getting ready to take a mini vacation to San Antonio!  The kids are so excited.  We are planning on doing some fun things while there, so hopefully I remember to take some pics for you.

Thanks for stopping by and taking peek!  I hope your summer is off to a great start.  If your not on break yet, then I hope your count down is own!  I {heart} followers and comments!
